been thinking about for a while, however cupcake update is already able to save the mms messages. so most likely, we'll pass on that feature.

Hello:
Just purchased the app from the Droid Marketplace and I admit I am new to texting and SMS, MMS.  I am trying to save a thread of texts to file and I keep getting the error warning:  "SMS-MMS Warning.  This process will NOT extract the MMS message.  You need to LONG PRESS on the individual thread and initiate the MMS Extract process from there."  When I long press the item I want it only goes to the same warning.  Also, how do I change the preference to save the output instead of emailing it?  I can select the out to save instead of email?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Bulk MMS backup is coming in the next release and if you click on the "do not show this again" button, that warning will disappear Wink

The warning is there to let the user know that, when this thread is extracted, only the SMS messages are backed up, not the pictures/videos (MMS).

And the file is saved regardless it's emailed or not. Emailing option is just a convenience.

Are you using an Android 2.1 phone. I believe that's the problem. We'll publish an update very soon.
