I just bought txtract and was exicted to use it.  I haven't been able to successfully save anything though.  The first time I ran, it sat there for 30 mins until it finally said fail.  Subsequent times the delay has not been as long.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

That's very odd. How many messages roughly do you have?

Did you check to see if any file is created on your MicroSD card under  "download/txtract/" directory ?

30 minutes is just a lot of time for it to finish a process.

The first time it ran it created a 2kb file.  The 2nd and 3rd time I had 482kb files.  Looks like they might be complete, but for some reason the app never notified me that it was done.

I have somewhere around 1500 messages.

482KB sounds about right. After it's complete, it should popup a dialog to ask you, if you want to email the output? You never got that?  Do you mind retrying the export after a fresh reboot  and letting me know about the behaviour?

The only thing that comes to me is that, maybe you had other apps running already consuming enough memory and leaving txtract no room to process?

I cannot simulate the full load on the simulator, so I need to do a live test on my phone, and I don't want to solicit all my friends with a ton of messages the same day  Smiley  In a few days, I'll try to bump up my message count to those levels and debug the app again.

Thank you very much for letting us know about this problem.
