We released Txtract 1.6 on a Friday the 13th Smiley

Version 1.6 includes;
  • Selectable Styles for HTML backup
  • Email the backup
  • Better look & feel
  • Faster
  • Minor bug fixes

When I backup my texts by using Txtract 1.6 will it automatically delete the text threads from my G1 phone or will they remain on my phone for future use?

Hi Shannon,

It will NOT delete your existing messages from your phone. You need to do it yourself, by picking and choosing the threads and/or messages you like to delete.

In the most basic sense, it makes a latter-accessible, easily readable snapshot of your "Messaging" application.
